Lovely to talk...

It was great to welcome Hannah Weston of Tameside Council and Matthew Prendergast of Castlefield Gallery as we hosted this month’s Tameside Creative Network meeting in the Café @ Woodend Mill (thank you Phil).

Lovely to see many studio holders and to welcome other creatives from the area. A relaxed, friendly and enjoyable event that provided the opprtunity to people to exchange and share their experience and advice.

Thank you to Jason Stocks-Young (Diamond Awl), Susan Aggarwal (Susan Aggarwal Art), Victoria Merness (Little House of Victoria) and Eve Ludlow (Little Bear Photography) for sharing your stories, it was great to hear your individual perspectives. Thank you to Yvonne for looking after people; you may not have seen who washed the cup…it could have been magic…it just happened…but it was actually Yvonne!

Clearly this was something the studio-holders in attendance enjoyed and they intend to hold regular drop-in sessions to allow you all to get together and share similar uplifting experiences and support one another moving forward; fantastic idea! I look forward to see you all there.
